Why work alone when you can partner with smart and skilled great friends?
Here’s a short list of some of my favorite people to work with on projects:
Maria Harlow – Fundraising and Family Foundations. Maria is a relationship focused individual who loves to connect people with shared values. She knows the power of community and what can be accomplished together. With a community that works together thrives together attitude, she enjoys working with non-profits at any point in their fundraising journey. From setting up your development function, fundraising event, creating a development plan and strategy complete with policies, procedures, prospecting, cultivation, and stewardship. She also loves to build community support and partnerships with non-profit organizations, corporate, private foundations, and individuals. She has raised funds, served as a grants & program manager for a family foundation and in community relations and corporate giving.
Teresa Purcell – Public Policy & Advocacy. We’ve been friends and have worked together on campaigns since my first job out of college! She is a national political, communications and organizing consultant, writer, speaker, coach and trainer specializing in work in rural America and with BIPOC communities to build power and create change from the ground up. Teresa brings a broad range of skill and expertise that supports Agility clients, and her own, with strategic planning, business outreach, program development and both qualitative and quantitative assessment. Beth Willis – Public policy, International Affairs & Protocol. Most recently, we worked together taking six U.S. trainers to teach young women in The Seychelles how to start small businesses. In addition to state and federal government work (including lobbying), Beth brought over thirty years of organizational management expertise to the World Trade Center, both within the private and public sectors. Mike Weinman – Government Relations & Advocacy Manager. Most recently, we worked together organizing a chamber’s WA2WA trip to discuss policy with Members of Congress and federal agencies. Mike, like Linda, is a recovering Congressional staffer, and has run his own consulting practice helping businesses and nonprofits with advocacy for over 10 years. Link to more info.
